The Yoga Space London is a nurturing, welcoming sanctuary offering Yoga, Pilates, workshops and events to our local community. Located in the Woolwich Arsenal development, our two studios have beautiful wooden flooring and are fully equipped with yoga mats, bolsters, blankets and everything you need to enjoy an enriching yoga experience. A team of dedicated teachers offer a range of options from dynamic classes to the slower paced, through to pregnancy yoga, restorative and gentle to gong meditations, there’s a class to suit all.
We provide space in the studio for you to place your personal items.
Your area around your mat must be clear.
Mobile phones must be on silent and kept with your personal belongings.
Please do not walk on the mats with your shoes on but take them off at the back of the room.
Booking a class couldn’t be easier with The Yoga Space London App, giving you the freedom to book classes on the go and cancel within the three hour cancellation window. Download the App here, register your email address and create a password.
Gaining access to the studio
After 5:30pm and during the weekend the main doors to Citibase are closed but you can gain entry ten minutes before your scheduled class. A teacher will be waiting at the door to sign you in and direct you to the class. Please be mindful that if you arrive too early for your class you won’t be able to gain entry to the building.
Is there parking?
After 5:30pm and all day weekend parking is free outside the studio.
If you are coming to a class during the week days then you can park in the underground car park situated on Station Way SE18 6FJ. Please take a look at our Find Us page for detailed directions to the car park.
We operate a strict three-hour cancellation policy. You can cancel your classes up to three hours before the start of class via the app or the website by logging into your account. By creating an account with us you agree to this as per the terms and conditions. Note that we do not accept cancellations by phone or email. All cancellations must be made via your online account.
Please note that The Yoga Space does not have a dedicated, manned reception area. The external doors close at the very start of class so latecomers will not be able to access the space.
Can I drop in and pay for a class?
You are more than welcome to drop in and pay by debit card or cash for a class however our classes are often fully booked and priority is given to those who have already booked and paid.
Do I need to bring anything?
We provide everything from mats to bolsters but you may prefer to use your own mat so feel free to bring it with you. You might want to bring a bottle of water to stay hydrated.
When you sign our terms and conditions you agree to inform the teacher of any injuries or medical issues that you have prior to the start of class. If you have any queries or would like to discuss your suitability for yoga please do get in touch at email@example.com
What should I wear?
You can wear leggings, shorts, tee shirt or vest. The most important thing is that you feel comfortable.
DO I NEED TO BE FLEXIBLE TO DO YOGA?
You definitely do not need to be flexible to do yoga but an open mind and a commitment to practice will certainly make your experience a positive one.
