RELEASE + RESTORE: A SOMATIC MOVEMENT WORKSHOP

Saturday 14th February

An invitation to journey inward through moving, pausing and listening.

This 2-hour somatic workshop offers a spacious, unhurried practice rooted in

moving from sensation rather than shape. Instead of following set poses or a

traditional asana-based sequences, you’ll be invited to move intuitively guided

by feeling, breath, and your body’s own intelligence.

Somatic movement supports us in sensing the inner landscape of the body,

releasing stored tension, and help to release patterns that no longer serve our

wellbeing. Through slow, mindful movement, the practice encourages ease,

presence, and deeper internal listening.

As we attune to breath and sensation, space naturally opens in both body and

mind creating room to reconnect with yourself and integrate movement,

breath, and mindfulness in a grounded, nourishing way.

Towards the end of the session there will be space for integration and stillness

through a supportive Yin sequence. Laura will offer optional therapeutic touch to

support grounding and awareness, with essential oils available as a gentle

sensory layer for those who wish to include them.

Sound Bath: The Science of Deep Rest

Bathing in the sound of Gong is believed to work along the same meridian lines as acupuncture and Yin yoga.

You are free to lie back and receive the vibrations of gong, deep into the body, energy system and mind. The gracious gong has a broader range of tones and harmonics than any other healing instrument so it’s potential to lead us towards self-healing is vast and inclusive.

Each session is different depending on your own needs and energy in that moment. Many people experience profound relaxation and physical release. Others see images and colours. You may slip into a deep meditation, tap into intuition or leave with greater mental clarity. Probably the most common result is the best night’s sleep in years!

BREATH AXIS
CONSCIOUS CONNECTED BREATHWORK

This is not just deep breathing.

Transformational Breathwork is a guided, therapeutic experience that uses continuous conscious breathing to unlock stuck emotion, bring clarity to the mind, and reconnect you with your own internal wisdom.

Unlike calming techniques like box breathing or pranayama, this practice invites intensity, emotional release, and a full nervous system reset, safely and with support. Please note that this is an activating Breath Work session and is unlike the breath work you will do in a meditation or yoga practice

In this session, you’ll experience:

A short grounding + breath intro

A full breathwork journey with curated music

Gentle integration time (journaling or quiet reflection)

This is for you if:

You’re holding stress, grief, or emotional fatigue

You feel cut off from your body, purpose, or clarity

EXTENDED YIN + SOUND

Saturday 7th March

This extended session combines slow, supported Yin yoga with a restorative sound journey designed to bring your whole system into a state of ease.

We’ll begin with longer-held Yin postures to gently release tension, improve mobility, and create space in the body using bolsters, balls and blankets. As the physical layers soften, you’ll transition into a sound bath of bowls and gongs to calm the mind, settle the breath and support deep rest.

Over two hours dedicated entirely to slowing down, unwinding and reconnecting with yourself.

Perfect for anyone needing time to reset, restore and breathe.

No experience needed. All equipment provided.

8 WEEK MINDFULNESS NOW COURSE

This 8-week session will introduce you to the principles of mindfulness practice. You will leave each session with practical and accessible tools you can use to manage stress, improve concentration, experience more gratitude and playfulness in life, develop better emotional resilience and navigate life’s challenges with greater clarity and calm.

Mindfulness is the practice of paying attention to the present moment with curiosity and compassion - and like all practices the more you do it the greater its impact in your life.

This course will draw upon curriculum from the Mindfulness Now programme, created by Nick Cooke, founder of the UK College of Mindfulness Meditation. Mindfulness Now draws from Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), both of which are widely researched and used in therapeutic, educational and workplace settings.

Each week we will explore different ways to approach mindfulness including:

- Meditation

- Mindfulness of movement

- Breathwork

- Gratitude practices

- Compassion and self-compassion

- Reflective journaling

- The Nine Attitudes of Mindfulness

- Mindful eating

This course is aimed at beginners, as well as those with some experience of meditation. Each week will build upon the previous equipping you with simple techniques you can practice at home between sessions and incorporate into your life and work. Through regular practice you will start to see significant benefits from a regular mindfulness practice.

Besides learning mindfulness, this is an opportunity to connect with a community of like-minded individuals through an 8-week mindfulness exploration. Let 2026 be the year to take charge of your mind and balance your emotions.

Through a combination of grounded movement, breath, sound and guided reflection, we create the conditions for clear decision-making and practical orientation — supporting clarity, pacing and follow-through rather than urgency or pressure.

The session includes intention-setting using a backcasting approach, gentle embodied practices to support focus, and a shared bowl of daal to close.

An Extended Practice to Bloom into Spring

This is an invitation to move beyond the physical.

To enter a space where movement becomes ritual and the body becomes a living expression of the elements.

ETHER is a deep, extended Mandala practice infused with essential oils, designed to guide you through all the elements — earth, water, fire and air — in a seamless, intentional dance.

As we move through circular, continuous mandala flows, energy begins to travel freely, stagnation dissolves, the nervous system softens and the body opens from the inside out.
