8 WEEK MINDFULNESS NOW COURSE

This 8-week session will introduce you to the principles of mindfulness practice. You will leave each session with practical and accessible tools you can use to manage stress, improve concentration, experience more gratitude and playfulness in life, develop better emotional resilience and navigate life’s challenges with greater clarity and calm.

Mindfulness is the practice of paying attention to the present moment with curiosity and compassion - and like all practices the more you do it the greater its impact in your life.

This course will draw upon curriculum from the Mindfulness Now programme, created by Nick Cooke, founder of the UK College of Mindfulness Meditation. Mindfulness Now draws from Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), both of which are widely researched and used in therapeutic, educational and workplace settings.

Each week we will explore different ways to approach mindfulness including:

- Meditation

- Mindfulness of movement

- Breathwork

- Gratitude practices

- Compassion and self-compassion

- Reflective journaling

- The Nine Attitudes of Mindfulness

- Mindful eating

This course is aimed at beginners, as well as those with some experience of meditation. Each week will build upon the previous equipping you with simple techniques you can practice at home between sessions and incorporate into your life and work. Through regular practice you will start to see significant benefits from a regular mindfulness practice.

Besides learning mindfulness, this is an opportunity to connect with a community of like-minded individuals through an 8-week mindfulness exploration. Let 2026 be the year to take charge of your mind and balance your emotions.

New Year Workshop
The Antidote to New Beginnings

Saturday 10th January

2pm - 5pm

January often brings pressure to reset, reinvent, and commit to “new year, new you” expectations. This workshop offers the opposite.

Over three gently held hours, you’ll move through reflective journaling, Yin yoga and restorative sound to quiet the noise, soften the body and return to yourself without urgency or self-judgement. There is no fixing or striving, just space to slow down and go inward.

The afternoon blends guided journaling for honest, compassionate reflection, long-held Yin postures to support nervous system downshift, and a therapeutic sound journey using bowls and gongs to release tension and create a sense of internal spaciousness.

This workshop is for anyone craving a softer entry into the year, less pressure, more grounding, and genuine rest.

We’ll close by sharing a simple bowl of warming daal together, offering time to settle, connect and ease gently back into the rest of the day.

You’ll leave feeling calmer and more regulated, with quiet clarity and a sense of having been deeply held and nurtured.

BREATH AXIS
CONSCIOUS CONNECTED BREATHWORK

Saturday 24th January

3pm - 5pm

This is not just deep breathing.

Transformational Breathwork is a guided, therapeutic experience that uses continuous conscious breathing to unlock stuck emotion, bring clarity to the mind, and reconnect you with your own internal wisdom.

Unlike calming techniques like box breathing or pranayama, this practice invites intensity, emotional release, and a full nervous system reset, safely and with support. In this session, you’ll experience:

A short grounding + breath intro

A full breathwork journey with curated music

Gentle integration time (journaling or quiet reflection)

This is for you if:

You’re holding stress, grief, or emotional fatigue

You feel cut off from your body, purpose, or clarity

You’re ready for change even if you don’t know what it looks like yet

No experience needed. Just your breath, your body, and your willingness to explore.

Please bring: water, a journal, a blanket/eye mask if desired

ECSTATIC DANCE
FROM STILLNESS INTO STIR

Saturday 31st January

4pm - 6pm

This uplifting 2-hour workshop blends Laura’s love of dancing, movement, and the sheer joy of shaking things off. We begin in stillness with a guided meditation to connect to breath, energy, and the felt sense of the body. From there, movement slowly awakens as we explore rhythms, energetic arcs, and playful pathways that help free the body through a gentle guided warm-up.

Laura’s playlist will weave Tribal Dance beats with classic House tunes, creating an energising atmosphere to open, soften, and shake off the winter as we celebrate Imbolc, the moment the season shifts from stillness to stir. This workshop welcomes the very first spark of Spring, inviting you to move in whatever way feels right. No dance experience needed. Move as much or as little as you like.

Laura is a dance artist and yoga teacher with a rich background in movement improvisation. She has taught internationally and is passionate about creating safe, expressive spaces where free movement naturally emerges. Blending her love of the nightclub dance floor with her ongoing yoga practice, she explores the healing power of dance through ritual, connection, and community.

Do I need to be able to dance?
Nope! We begin with breath and heartbeat and build from there. This is a space to shake off the S**T, reconnect with yourself, and discover freedom, expression, and release through movement. Zero choreography, total permission.
