Sound Immersion in Woolwich

Deep rest for your nervous system

A guided sound experience using gongs and singing bowls to help you switch off, slow down, and access a level of rest that’s hard to find elsewhere.

Space to stop. Time to reset.

Sound Immersions sit apart from the rest of the timetable.

Where most classes involve movement, this is a practice of stillness. You lie down, get comfortable, and are guided through a live sound experience using gongs, singing bowls and other instruments.

The sound works directly with the nervous system, helping the body shift out of stress and into a more settled, restorative state.

You don’t need to do anything. You don’t need any experience. You just need to arrive.

What is a Sound Immersion?

A Sound Immersion is a therapeutic sound experience where instruments are played live to create a layered, evolving soundscape.

As you rest, the sound supports your body into deeper relaxation. For some people, this feels like complete stillness. For others, it can bring emotional release, clarity, or simply a kind of rest they don’t often access.

There is no right way to experience it.

What makes our sound immersions different?

This is not a background relaxation session.

The sound is played live and intentionally, drawing on Dolores’s background as a psychotherapist, clinical hypnotherapist and sound practitioner.

The space is held carefully. The experience is considered. And the aim is not distraction — it’s genuine rest.
